It Is About Islam

Several years ago in a men’s breakfast group at church we watched a DVD series on Islam. I recall learning Islam is not a religion of peace and there is a jihad against any who are against it. I just finished a 2015 book by Glenn Beck, It IS About Islam: Exposing the Truth About ISIS, Al Qaeda, Iran, and the Caliphate. It exposes the truth about ISIS, et al. Beck graduated from the high school where our kids went to school about the same time. You may know he has hosted a radio show of his name for some years. The book is highly documented with a 33 page fine print bibliography. Bottom line—all Christians, students and politicians should read this book and see how government officials and mainline publications sugar coat Islam. Fortunately, Donald Trump understands some of the dangers and if he is elected he may lead an effort to protect us.

The 5000 Year Leap

51D5IrYw8iL__SS500_Patriots: When in the course of life we become bogged down in the current political rhetoric. It is good to step back, go to the country’s foundations to remember why this Great Experiment was started anyway. With that in mind, we will from time to time, recommend books for your edification. Always we recommend for your first read The 5000 Year Leap.

It’s an easy read, it is meant to be shared, and gives a basic understanding of how the founders of the country saw their world and what they thought about government.

Twenty-Five Ways To Suppress Truth: The Rules of Disinformation

Built upon Thirteen Techniques for Truth Suppression by David Martin, the following may be useful to the initiate in the world of dealing with veiled and half-truth, lies, and suppression of truth when serious crimes are studied in public forums. This, sadly, includes every day news media, one of the worst offenders with respect to being a source of disinformation. Where the crime involves a conspiracy, or a conspiracy to cover up the crime, there will invariably be a disinformation campaign launched against those seeking to uncover and expose the truth and/or the conspiracy. There are specific tactics which disinfo artists tend to apply, as revealed here. Also included with this material are seven common traits of the disinfo artist which may also prove useful in identifying players and motives. The more a particular party fits the traits and is guilty of following the rules, the more likely they are a professional disinfo artist with a vested motive. People can be bought, threatened, or blackmailed into providing disinformation, so even “good guys” can be suspect in many cases.

You can almost pull some of the proper responses verbatim, for use in defending against troll attacks in forums, Twitter, Facebook and other message boards.)

The many congressional hearings, trials and conspiracy theories discussed here may or may not be valid, but the disinformation tactics are still worthy of consideration. Of relevance today of course, are Benghazi, ObamaCare, The Oso mudslide (yes, government malpractice is a factor there). The endless coverage and speculation over Malaysia Airlines Flight 370 is a great distraction from other serious corruption at any level. The complicit mainstream media will gladly carry the water. As always, follow the money (and the power). The truth will set you free. Seek the truth!

Looking for a good read for a Christmas gift? Try Jeffrey Archer’s page turner series The Clifton Chronicles, a family saga, cliff hangers abound. Start with #1 “Only Time will Tell” move on with #2 “Above and Beyond” , then be sure you have books #3 and 4 in the wings – such is his powerful writing. #3 “Like Father, Like Son”, and #4 “Be Careful What You Wish for”. Archer ‘s settings are transatlantic and laced with accurate historical events from 1920 forward. These compelling books are hard to put down.
